BERKELEY, CA, OCTOBER 17, 2017 – On Friday, November 3 at 1:30pm Pacific Time, Marcus Thomas, Chief Technology Officer of Subsentio®, the CALEA Compliance Company®, will participate in a BerkeleyLaw Symposium panel on “The Intersection of Technology and Criminal Justice.” The panel is part of day-long symposium, “Criminal Justice at a Crossroads.”
The panel will be moderated by John Yoo, Emanuel S. Heller Professor of Law at UC Berkeley School of Law, and include Richard Salgado, Director for Information Security and Law Enforcement at Google, Inc., and other distinguished experts from the law enforcement and legal affairs community.
As Chief Technology Officer for Subsentio, Thomas leads technology planning and development for the nation’s largest trusted third party of CALEA compliance, Records Production, DMCA Records Production, and International Legal Demand Tracker services. Before joining Subsentio, he was Assistant Director of Technology for the FBI, where he oversaw operational technologies and supported the mission needs for that agency and the Intelligence Community.
